[Mitarbeiter.zoologie] verdi: Collective agreement reached for employees in the public service of the federal states

Main point of the release for employee: 

Through the collective agreement, the state employees receive a tax- and tax-free inflation compensation payment of 3,000 euros: An amount of 1,800 euros net will be granted for December 2023. From January to October 2024 inclusive, there are monthly payments of 120 euros net each. The income of employees increases from the 1st. November 2024 with a base amount of 200 euros. From the 1st In February 2025, there will be a further salary increase of 5.5 percent. The duration of the collective agreement is 25 months until the 31st. October 2025. On average, the salaries of the country employees increase by more than eleven percent during the term.

I think we will see the effect only next year, as a final decisions still need to be made (see last paragraph of the press release) and it will take a while to set it up, but overall good news :)
