[Mitarbeiter.zoologie] Wrap-up: e-mail distribution list, mitarbeiter list, homepage

Dear all

just to clarify what was brought up in this week's labmeeting regarding:

  * e-mail distribution list (the very one you are right now getting
    this e-mail from): this list is up to date containing everyone. If
    somebody new starts please drop me an e-mail with the e-mail address
    you wish to be contacted via this very distributor. If somebody is
    on the list but wants to be removed from it, do the same expressing
    your wish.
  * mitarbeiter list: this is a google spreadsheet that can be reached
    via the following link
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wgIZAaiD4eDQ2xf6b8YZu3e3iL81vBKxzGMRpG0LIW4/edit?usp=sharing.
    It is supposed to give an overview of everyone working in the
    department and to be a reference point for getting an e-mail address
    (for information requests, private correspondance, ....) or the full
    name, supervisor or just general info regarding a person (this info
    is only hard to include in the e-mail distributor list). Everyone
    having this link can view the content of the spreadsheet but only
    Robert, Belinda, Panas, Antonella and I can modify it (@Robert,
    Belinda, Panas, Antonella please check that this works out) which we
    will do as soon as a persons starts in the department or as soon as
    we know the person has left the department.
  * homepage: I am happy to create a homepage for everyone staying for
    longer (PhD and Post-docs). In order to do so please drop by my
    office or write me an e-mail. I am also happy to include information
    or people currently working in the department on the homepage. But
    in order to do so I need relevant information, which starts with
    simple things like a full name (correctly spelled), topic or
    project, as well as supervisor.

On a general note: I am happy to manage e-mail distributor, mitarbeiter 
list and homepage but as previously said I would then also need relevant 
information. If you see or notice anything odd in either of these three 
things then please tell me: it is hard to act without knowing. The same 
holds true if you are unhappy with the way these three things are run 
right know: please speak up because things can be changed.
