[Mitarbeiter.zoologie] Machine Learning in R showcase at Thursday Meeting slot

Dear all,

I have attended the  Helmholtz Machine Learning summer school
<https://www.helmholtz-hida.de/en/activities/events/details/artikeldetail/helmholtz-virtual-ml-summer-school-2020/>
where supervised machine learning is introduced through the R package
"mlr3".This is mainly about predictive modelling solving regression and
classification problems.

I wonder if there would be any interest from you to have a short
intro/showcase (very basic because I am also a newbie..) on this topic and
tool, at the time slot for the Research meeting Thursday 8/10  9-11.
