Dear all, 
 
Here is a short update from yesterday's city council meeting:
"Die CDU wollte den Verkauf des Reil 78 an den nutzenden Verein
rückgängig machen, dieser Antrag wurde aber mit Patt abgelehnt."

The CDU wanted to reverse the sale of Reil 78 to the association using
it, but this motion was rejected by a deadlock.

citizens value and need REIL78 just as much as many other
cultural and political spaces here and everywhere!

With your signature, emphasize the political dimension of the entire
event. Since the local elections in 2024, at least in Halle,
there are no longer even the remains of a 'firewall' to the right-wing
extremist AfD! Parts of the CDU believe they can use the
AfD for their own purposes without realizing where that leads. The
representatives of the city council in Halle must be aware of
their responsibility when they start to eliminate unpopular or even just
misunderstood projects, lifestyles and political opinions
together with right-wing extremists and anti-democrats."
