> The section hands out travel grants to support BSc/MSc/PhD students and postdocs who want to attend the European IUSSI conference in Lausanne. If you are a member of the CE section and will present your work in Lausanne, you can apply for up to 50% (more for applicants from Eastern Europe) of the travel costs including the early bird conference fee. The applications will be reviewed by the section’s travel grant committee (Simon Tragust, Silvio Erler, Volker Nehring and Heike Feldhaar).

> 1) a letter of motivation, including an explanation of why IUSSI funding is necessary and how the remaining 50% will be paid
