[Mitarbeiter.zoologie] the use and abuse of biology

Dear all,

Some of you might be interested in the attached. If not to read it, at least to know of it. Our daughter Giulia, just send it to us.

It is a critique of sociobiology as conceived by EO Wilson and has been written by an American scholar who was, among other things, David Graeber’s supervisor (as Giulia tells me.)

I have just read the introduction and i found it interesting: it is about the debate of whether biology determines culture.
