Dear all,

here an email forwarded from iDIv with a nice blog post  (in english) about the current discussion over  reforming the WissZeitVG, the regulations over short term employment. So far one of the suggestion, cutting the employment time after PhD from 6 years to 3 sounds quite shocking. This suggestion was taken back, after an outcry of scientist, but keeping an eye on further development is important. There will be an lifestream of a discussion round from the Bundestag  on March the 30th (see linked tweets in the blog), the link is not yet present but if you see it you may send it around.
