[Mitarbeiter.zoologie] Time spent reformating articles for journal submission costs millions

 Dear Sara,

MDPI are probably the worst offenders.

My policy: make the ms as simple as possible, with minimum formatting. This fits most ’normal’ journals. I note that Elsevier already go over to ‘free format’ for the initial submission, at least for some of their journals.
