Dear members of the Central European IUSSI,

I hope you all had a good start into 2023!

Attached you will find this year´s Newsletter as well as two positions 
for PhDs (one at U Hohenheim on Varroa / honeybees with Kirsten Traynor 
and one at U Halle with Simon Tragust on an emerging parasite on an 
invasive ant species).

The newsletter contains some information on

- CE IUSSI Section meeting in Cluj-Napoca, Romania from 17th to 20th of 
September 2023

- International IUSSI in Freburg, Germany in 2026

- Special Issues in Insectes Sociaux
