[Mitarbeiter.zoologie] PhD defence preparations Mohammad

Dear all

as you might be aware Mohammad will defend his PhD on Monday. As you 
might also be aware in Germany there is the tradition of building the 
one defending a "PhD-hat". This is normally done by people that 
accompanied the defending one during his PhD journey (mainly other PhDs).

Therefore I was wondering if you know whether there is already an 
initiative going on for this. If not I would simply propose that people 
meet up tomorrow afternoon (let's say 15:00) in our kitchen to build the 
hat and I would ask everyone that might still have "leftovers" of 
buildingmaterial from previous PhD defenses (carton, glue, ......) to 
bring them.

I will also place a box in the kitchen for a small money collection for 
Mohammad (maybe there is still time to buy a card or something until 
Monday).
