[Mitarbeiter.zoologie] laboratory work

Dear all.

1.) Today morning I found the stock freezer in the 6th floor not
completely closed. The temperature display showed -8 degrees instead of
-20 ! Also ice was built which means it was probably opened since
yesterday.

In that freezer is all the general stuff and aliquots for those who work
in the lab and need things such as enzymes and primers etc. ! I hope
there is no damage but I cannot tell. 

PLEASE CLOSE THE FREEZERS AND FRIDGES after using correctly, you can
even lock them!! Do it not in a hurry otherwise you do not know if it is
really closed or not. Especially before you leave the lab.

It was not the first time that Anja and I find these freezers open!

2.)
I also find some 50 mL tubes and a small beaker filled with liquid in
the beelab (last bench). It is there since yesterday. I made a photo.

The beaker is not labled which is very important in a labaratory! Even
it is only water or someting not dangarous. 

PLEASE LABLE THE BEAKER.You can just write it with a pen what is inside.
 As we do not know what is inside and something happens with it, no one
would know is is hazardous or how to absorb or treat it, when you get
for example the liquid on your skin or the bench!
And in general every chemical in the lab in fillings has to be labled!
