Dear all,

We also brought a contribution for our "lab sweet collection". You will
find some traditional sweets from Caldas da Rainha (even if this was not
one of the places we visited during our trip).

Here is a description:

Beijinhos das Caldas (literally translated to "little kisses from Caldas"),
one of the most famous and best-selling sweets in our production, its mini
format makes it easy to eat. It is characterized by being a light and
crunchy sweet. Many call it ‘Cavaquinhas’ but the real name is Beijinhos
das Caldas, a typical sweet from Caldas da Rainha, which appeared at the
same time as the famous Cavacas das Caldas. Crispy biscuit with a thin
coating of sugar and lemon.
