Dear General Zoology team,

I hope you are all doing well!

Some of you might already be aware, but if not, I am happy to share with you that my PhD defence is approaching - hooray! I do not have a definite date yet, but for now a provisional one has been set for 16th June, awaiting confirmation from some of the committee members. I would like to give a practice talk within the group and would very much value your feedback. Robert suggested that I give my practice talk within the context of the master course. I will therefore present the talk I have prepared for my defence on 9th June, at 10:15.

Since students from the master course will likely not be interested in hearing feedback on the content of my slides, I suggest that after my talk (and after students have finished asking any questions they may have), we switch over to the Zoom link below, where you can share your feedback to help me prepare for my defence.
