Dear All,

Because many of you are concerned about a meeting tomorrow at 08:30, I shall issue some guidance so that you do not need to attend.

If you are undertaking office work, please do so from home (HomeOffice) to reduce contact with others.

If you share an office with others and need to enter your office to work, how ever briefly, coordinate with others in your office so that only one of you is present at any one time in the office.

If you are undertaking lab work, coordinate with others also intending to work in the lab so that only one person is doing so at one point in time. An exception: if visiting the honey bees, one MUST work with at least one other person. Working alone with honey bees is not permitted.

For those that are unsure, you can email me and I will try to answer your questions. I shall also be on the 9th floor of Hoher Weg 8 tomorrow at 08:30 to answer questions. Do not attend if you do not feel the need so as to reduce the risk of transmission.

The university Rector and Chancellor are making decisions as the situation progresses. Anticipate their snap decision e.g. to close the university. I do not know what that will be.
