So we already discussed last week that Raoul and I will present the
papers of next week with Panagiotis. Would be nice if somebody else
could present the Zhou et al paper...
sincerely,
Johannes

Btw,
who of you will present the Zhou et al paper on Friday? I know that
Monique will present the Mohan et al paper and that Diana can't as she
has chosen my project. Thus, please decide between you guys and Jenny.
best wishes,
Belinda

Dear all,
obviously there was some misunderstanding about the paper discussion
this week. So each of you has to present only ONE paper. If I understood
correctly then Monique has chosen the population genetics paper about
geckos (Mohan et al 2019, attached). Thus, can you please discuss which
one of you will take the other attached paper (Zhou et al 2018) and let
me know? Thanks a lot.
Best wishes,
Belinda

Belinda

Dear all I think I finally figured it out (I know
this is the second or third time I think so. Let's hope its the
last).
You can enter the room either via link and access code:
https://mluconf.uni-halle.de/b/sim-6u9-fq3
288321
or via StudIP if you click not on the name meeting (this will
open up a new room with the same name) but click on the symbol
under Aufzeichnung under the tab Meetings.
I have updated the quick guideline for MLUconf
correspondingly.
Sorry that it has taken me a while to figure this out.
Best
Simon

Dear All,
If you use the link below as provided in StudIP to enter
the ‘lecture room’, then you will not need to use an access
code. If you are not in StudIP when clicking the link to enter
the virtual lecture room, you may need to use the access code:

Simon has kindly generated a ppt file describing how to
use MLUconf.

Dear
Participants in the Project Module ‘Allgemeine
Zoologie’,
On Monday 25 May at 08:15 the project you will hear a lecture from me, starting 08:15, which
will be held virtually but in real time i.e. you need
to be listening at 08:15 to hear it but you do not
need to be physically present. Please tune in to:
https://mluconf.uni-halle.de/b/sim-6u9-fq3
If you need a place to sit and listen to
the lecture on your PC/laptop/device, you are welcome
to your work space in Hoher Weg 8 (Nordtrakt, 3.
Etage, Raum 3.05). As given on the schedule
(attached), the lecture should take 2 hours. I will
upload a pdf of the lecture to StudIP this afternoon.
On Monday 25 May at 11:00 the ‘practical’
part of the modules will commence. I will then meet
you all in person in Hoher Weg 8 (Nordtrakt, 3. Etage,
Raum 3.05) i.e. you must be physically present. We
will discuss health and safety, how the module is to
be organised, allocate you reading material (papers)
to present (list attached) and allow you to discuss
project work (list attached). Other members of the
teaching team will be 'present’ then, too. If anything
is not clear, please email me and ask.
Yours,
Robert
Dear Participants in the Project
Module ‘Molekulare Ökologie’,
Please listen to the lecture on Monday at
08:15 am using the link above. Please also register on
StudIP for the BSc Projektmodule ‘Allgemeine Zoologie’
so you can download pdfs of lectures and other
materials. Do not delete your registration for the BSc
Projektmodule ‘Molekulare Ökologie’, on which you are
officially registered. Please do not enter Raum 3.05
of Hoher Weg 8 because you will have other work space,
communicated to you by your module coordinator Dr.
Routtu (cc-ed). Please follow his instructions
concerning your activities after 10:00 on Monday.
Yours sincerely,
Robert Paxton
