Dear All,

I hope you are all well after the Easter vacation. 

I assume restrictions on university activities will soon be changed, though how soon is unclear. As soon as I receive information, I will pass it on to you.

News from the lab: Christopher Wild should become an official PhD student in the group as of today, working on a project exploring the population genetics of insects in a large 'natural park’ area of NW Bavaria.

Currently working in the lab are:

Anja M
Sara, with assistance from Anna and Lucie
Julia (though mainly in the field, where Fran and Bilyana assist)
Fernando
Tabea
(Occasionally myself)

We are trying to keep the number of people per room/lab to one. I you want to come into the university this week, let Anja M and myself know so that we can allocate space. Probably we will be able to re-assess lab/office use on Monday, when we know how the university wants to proceed with the corona pandemic. As I state above, I will inform you as soon as decisions have been made.
