[Mitarbeiter.zoologie] Lab Work Reminder

Dear all,
Given the high activity in both our labs we would like to highlight a
few important points for all of you to keep in mind:

- All used/dirty equipment must be brought to the appropriate cleaning
area (bee cages, empty tube jars, bottles and glass ware to our office &
pestiles, cage lids, feeders into the bleach bucket).

- Remember to wipe the benches (with ethanol or distilled water to
remove sugar solution) after you are done working.

- Bring empty tip boxes to the table next to the autoclave in the
Molecular Lab.

- Take good care of the pipettes to prevent contamination or
obstructions
	» Stay under their maximum volume.
	» Avoid contact between liquids in the tips and the tip holder.
	» Check for labels on them for their corresponding use.

- Remember to keep labelling all your material/samples/boxes properly
(Name, description & date).

- Discard all material that you don't (and won't) need anymore.


Remember that all lab areas are mostly shared by all of us, so when in
doubt about how to proceed with any method, protocol, machine or any
other equipment, just ask :)
