Dear All,

The Qiaxcel in the 8th floor lab was not properly put ‘to park’ after its last use, meaning that the (new) cartridge has dried out. Lanes 2, 6 and 10 are not useable any more. Anja is going to test whether the other lanes are still usable. Please, if you use the Qiaxcel, then make sure the buffer tray is properly returned to the ‘park’ position after its use so that the cartridge remains in buffer. If you do not understand this message, then you should not use the Qiaxcel machine; ask Anja or Tabea to instruct you, and ask them to check that you have properly put the machine ’to park’ after you have used it.
