Dear all, 

regarding the ticket to Leipzig for those without student card: there is the option to take a day-ticket for several people (e.g. 4 persons for 44.10 Euros), which means saving a bit of costs.

However it would imply travelling together.

 just checked again, so the train will depart at 8.14 from platform 13. However, I think Antonellas suggestion to NOT meet at the platform but rather in the main hall underneath the screen with the train departure times might be better since they have four ticket machines there (each platform usually just has 1-2). So I suggest we meet there at 8:00-8:10 (depending on if you need a ticket or not).

 you first have to take a train (S5, S5x or S3) from Halle main station (platform 13 for S5 and S5x or platform 1 for S3) to Leipzig main station (duration: app. 30 minutes, depending on the train).

 From Leipzig main station you can get Tram 3 (direction "Taucha/Sommerfeld") or Tram 7 (direction "Sommerfeld") to "Permoser/Torgauer Str." (duration: app. 30 minutes). From the tram stop it just takes around 5-10 minutes to walk to "Kubus" where the conference takes place.
