<div>1st. Today was the last chapter of the <strong>Conservation and the Genomics of Populations</strong> book. During the discussion of today several people suggested we could have a discussion about coalescence. For that we will read <a href="https://www.nature.com/articles/nrg795">this paper.</a> The date of the discussion will be decided on the next lab meeting. All of you who would like to join are more than welcome.</div>

<div>2nd. Since we "finished" the book we will now choose a new one. If anyone has any suggestions of a book that it would like to read, please let me know. Also, if you have interested on a particular field (e.g. community ecology, or biology of invasive species) and would like to read a book about it but you do not have any particular book in mind, let me know and we can find a book that fits with your interest. </div>
