<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Please spread the following job advertisement for two doctoral researchers with Stephanie Jurburg, Nico Eisenhauer, and myself within the new DFG-funded research unit </span><a href="https://www.uni-marburg.de/en/fb17/phytoakmeter"><span lang="EN-US">PhytOakmeter</span></a><span lang="EN-US">. PhytOakmeter uses clonal oak phytometers to unravel acclimation and adaptation mechanisms of long-lived forest tree holobionts to ecological variations and climate change. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Within this Research Unit, our subprojects investigate the effect of nematodes on these acclimation and adaptation processes. One of the two positions focuses more on environmental gradients and abiotic drivers and is headquartered at the UFZ in Leipzig. The other position focuses more on biotic drivers and is based at iDiv, University of Leipzig. Both doctoral researchers will intensely work together and link abiotic and biotic drivers in their theses.</span></p>
