Die Veranstaltung findet im Hybrid-Format und auf Englisch am 21. und 22. Oktober 2021 statt. </div><div class="">Der erste Tag umfasst tagsüber Online-Präsentationen des International Office / PhD Network und der InGrA zu vielerlei Themen rund um die Promotion an der Martin-Luther-Universität und zur Organisation des Aufenthaltes an der Uni sowie eine Begrüßung durch die Stadt Halle und ein gemütliches Get-together am Abend im Peißnitzhaus. Das Treffen ist eine gute Gelegenheit, sich gleich zu Beginn zu vernetzen und Freunde zu finden. Um Anmeldung wird gebeten. November 2021 von 13 bis ca. 17:15 Uhr präsentieren das Referat 6.1 – Forschungsförderung und -kooperation und das International Office Fördermöglichkeiten in der Postdoc-Phase. Themen der Veranstaltung sind Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten für Forschungsaufenthalte im Ausland sowie für die eigene Stelle im In- und Ausland. Vorgestellt werden u.a. Fördermöglichkeiten der EU, der DFG und des DAAD. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich primär an internationale Postdoktorand*innen, die ihren Doktorgrad vor nicht mehr als zwei Jahren erworben haben. Auch internationale Promovierende, die kurz vor dem Abschluss der Promotion stehen, sind herzlich willkommen. Natürlich sind deutsche am Thema interessierte Promovierende und Postdocs ebenso herzlich willkommen. November 2021 findet darauf aufbauend der 2-tägige Workshop “Paid to research: how to prepare successful funding applications” mit Herrn Dr. Matteo Garavoglia als Referenten statt. Am ersten Tag lernen die Teilnehmenden, eigene erfolgreiche Anträge auf Stipendien, Reisestipendien und Forschungsförderung (in Deutschland und darüber hinaus) zu stellen. Der zweite Tag besteht aus Einzelberatungen zu eigenen Anträgen. Workshop-Sprache ist Englisch. Dieser 2-tägige Workshop findet online statt.
