I think it would be really helpful, if everyone who wants to join the discussion, would do some research on the topics and maybe on other methods she or he wants to talk about. As a start I'm sending you a puplication which discusses minimum requirements for publishing qPCR data and a webinar series about qPCRs where they talk about frequent questions, that come up during qPCR.
