<div>if you know a master student, who is interested in working on a project concerning the effects of land use and altitude on biodiversity (mainly plants & insects) in Ecuador please forward these mail to them. The major aim is to classify/define different families/taxa of plants and insects according to the altitude and landuse type (abandoned, reforestation, cacao plantation, farming...). The results of the master thesis will provide basic knowledge in order to develop further projects with the <strong>ECU-MAES framework (ECU-MAES= mapping and assessing ecosystem services in Ecuador).</strong></div>

<div>The costs for the flight (2150 Euro) and 3 months of field work (1025 Euro per month) will be covered by the project.</div>
