<p><b>2 PhD and 2 Post-doc positions to study transmission
dynamics and </b><b><b>disease defences in ant colonies<br>
</b></b></p>
<p>As part of a new ERC-funded project (ERC Starting Grant), I am
looking for 2 PhD students and 2 post-doctoral researchers to
address the following questions:</p>
<p>1. What are the effects of social network structure on disease
transmission in ant colonies? (Post-doc)</p>
<p>2. What are the effects of caste-specific microbiota on disease
susceptibility in ants? (Post-doc)</p>
<p>3. What are the effects of group composition on disease
transmission and immune investment in ants? (PhD)</p>
<p>4. What are the effects of pathogen pressure on personal and
social immune investment in ants? (PhD)</p>
